Nina : Educational Director
Trained in England, Nina has been styling hair since 1995. After completing the British City in Guilds Education In Hair, she went on to become an educator for Matrix. Nina has trained extensively with TIGI in London and recently attended the prestigous Bumble and Bumble University in New York, making her proficient in all the latest coloring and cutting techniques. Nina's patience, attention to detail and incomparable skill will leave your hair looking flawless.

Amy : Educational Director
A truly gifted stylist, Amy loves her craft. Her creativity and skill shines through in all of her work. Amy's cutting edge techniques are attributed to her education at a highly regarded Paul Mitchell Academy. An expert when it comes to modern color techniques, Amy has completed Redken's Master Specialist program as well as recently acquiring the honor of being a Redken Certified Haircolorist. Named our Redken Educational Director, Amy is a valued member of the V&A team.

Elise : Esthetician
Elise found her passion in life here at Victoria & Albert when she worked as a receptionist for three years. That passion is skin care. Elise enrolled at The Fila Academy, a partner school of The International Dermal Institute. She graduated in March, 2011 and became an authorized, licensed Esthetician. Elise is always eager to learn the newest advances in her field. Currently she is receiving education in our new skin care line, Bioelements, while she continues to participate in continuing education at The International Dermal Institute training center. Elise is a warm, welcoming person that will ensure that you have a relaxing experience and glowing skin.

Emily
Since graduating from a Paul Mitchell partner school in 2009, she has extensive training with American Board Certified Haircolorists. Emily has strived for continuing her education with the lastest looks and precision from attending classes at Graham Webb Academy, The Energizing Summit for ABCH in L.A. and New York IBS shows. She joins our staff with an interest in enhancing your natural beauty within and without. With a servants heart she loves to give you a relaxed and rejuvenated experience that will have you leaving pampered and looking fabulous. Just the boost we all need! . She takes pride in a precision consultation so she can really get you and you get the results you want. Give her a try and you wont regret it!

Lauren
After realizing her true passion for the hair industry, Lauren graduated from The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School in February 2010. Lauren has been with V&A since then and has undergone our extensive training program. While continuing her education, Lauren enjoys creating looks that elevate your natural beauty. She loves to give you a beautiful style for that special occasion and her friendly personality will keep you coming back time after time.

Mel
Mel graduated from The Fila Academy a Paul Mitchell Partner school with a barber’s license. Mel has been doing hair since 2003 and has trained in Wella, Aveda, and Loreal Professional Color systems. She loves doing trendy cuts and colors but not to worry she can give you that natural look as well. She has also had extensive training in men’s haircutting. Her passion is color and loves giving someone that perfect shade to make your day! (photo available soon)

Christy
A native of Ocean City, Maryland, Christy has been a stylist since 2004. She has worked in the salon industry since the age of 16. Christy has attended advance courses at both TIGI New York and Pivot Point. She also has taken numerous in salon courses with Redken, Alphaparf and TIGI. Christy excels in dimensional coloring, and both men's and women's haircutting. Her fun, upbeat personality will make you feel welcome and comfortable in her chair. She is a true lover of her craft and continues to educate herself in the latest styles.

Cori
Starting as a stylist assistant in 2004, Cori decided to further her education by graduating from Paul Mitchell Partner School. In 2007, we welcomed Cori as a stylist. She specializes in the newest modern looks with color and cuts. With a friendly personality and her trendy style you will enjoy your visit with Cori!

Christine
Christine started in the hair industry in 1984. She worked in DC from 1985-1992, during which time worked for the CBS Morning Show, specifically Paula Zahn and her guests when on location in DC. From 1990-1992 she worked for the Kennedy Center Life Time Achievement Awards honorees. Moving to New Mexico in 1992 she established a thriving fun business for herself, as well as attended continuing education classes in California and Las Vegas. In 2006, Christine returned to the East Coast and was hired by V&A.

Jennifer
Originally from Georgia, Jennifer has been with V&A for over two years. Previous to joining our team, Jen came to us from the "Redken Salon of the Year" in Atlanta. Trained at a Framesi school, Jennifer has continued her education with both Redken and TIGI. Although well versed in all aspects of hair design, Jen is an expert when it comes to dimensional coloring. In addition to her talent, we know you will enjoy Jennifer's southern charm and sweet dispostion.

Soon
With more than four decades of hair design experience, Soon is an expert hair color specialist and is highly sought after for weddings and special events. Throughout her career she has competed in various national and international styling competitions in both New York and Korea. Soon brings to you the most exciting styles and techniques, but most importantly, Soon is committed to your satisfaction! She works collaboratively with clients to make sure they walk out of the salon delighted.

Wan : Nail Technician
Wan started with Victoria and Albert as a stylist assistant in 1991. Pursuing her career in 2001, Wan went to apprentice at Natural Nails to receive her nail technician license. Wan returned to V&A in 2005 working as our natural nail specialist. An expert when it comes to hand and foot massage, nail shaping, and polishing. Wan will help you get your nails looking great to have long lasting results.

Melissa
Melissa has been with V&A since 2005. Starting her career in 1998, Melissa has had the experiences of training from Bumble and Bumble, Redken, Nioxin, Paul Mitchell and Aveda. Melissa is highly educated in every component of hair design. Having completed advanced technical training with TIGI in Dallas, Melissa's level of experience is remarkable. Specializing in all coloring, cutting and naturally curly hair, Melissa is a valued addition to the V&A team.

Colleen
Colleen has been a stylist since 1978. Originally from Ohio, Colleen started with V&A in 1993. Furthering her technique, she has attended Bumble and Bumble University, The Redken Exchange, Alfaparf Milano and Kenneth's Design School. Colleen's precision in haircutting led to her work to be featured in Passion Magazine. With her patience and attention to detail, Colleen specializes in all aspects of hair design including hair color, cutting and specialized chemical processes.

Melanie : Bumble and Bumble Network Educator
With impeccable taste and a discerning eye, Melanie will help you achieve the latest style trends. As our Educational Director for Bumble and Bumble, she is in constant contact with the New York City style scene. Attending multiple training sessions at Bumble and Bumble, Melanie does phenomenal color work including dimensional, corrective and the Balyage technique. Styling since 1996, Melanie's consideration of her clients needs are always first and foremost on her agenda.

Kim
Kim has been with V&A since 1983. Kim has continued her education throughout her career attending seminars and workshops with Redken 5th Avenue, Bumble and Bumble, Paul Mitchell and Alfaparf. With Kim's years of experience, she manages all of our assistant staff.

Karin
Karin is one of those rare people who even after being in this business for over 25 years is always eager to learn something new. Karin is a master colorist who has ongoing education and past education including training in Paul Mitchell System's in Honolulu, Hawaii; Alfaparf Milano's Evolution of Color in South Beach, Miami; Redken 5th Avenue and Bumble & Bumble University in New York. Karin's extensive education and outstanding client retention makes her the amazing stylist that she is!

Inge
Originally from Graz, Austria, Inge has seen many techniques and trends come, go and come back again. She has attended Vidal Sassoon, Trevor Sorbie $amp; TIGI of London. She has received diplomas in advanced precision cutting and hair coloring. She has furthered her education in Germany, Austria, Italy and Canada. In the US, she has attended numerous workshops and seminars with Redken in California and New York, Bumble and Bumble, Alfaparf, Paul Mitchell and Graham Webb. Specializing in hair color, she is familiar with every color that is available in the US. Her wisdom and experience speaks for itself!
